Religious Experience

My friend Matt told me about this sign and I just had to get a picture of it. It is of Asbury United Methodist Church here in Memphis. My dad is Methodist and his boss goes to the church. My dad called the church today. I think showing him that picture really upset him. Anyways, they said that it was the title of their Sunday sermon. This church is right down the street from a large Buddhist statue that recently caused a major controversy here. The preacher of this church publicly defended the homeowners right to have that statue, even though he didn't agree with the religious belief it stood for. I don't know if there is a connection or not. Anyways... My thoughts on the subject: If it wasn't for the fact that I don't believe in hell, I would totally agree with the sign.
Edit: Another picture I took of this sign is featured on Ryland's Church Sign Generator. Awesome! Comments

I agree with the sign and the intention behind it. I think they are trying to say Christians should go to hell but because of the blood of Jesus Christ they are cleansed from all unrighteousness and thus escape eternal judgement and will enter heaven. "For the wages of sin is death but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23

Well, I think you two are twits and you should stop pushing your religion around. Religion's supposed to be personal.

I agree with the person who encouraged the person who does not accept Hell as real place for eternal damnation, to read the word of GOD and seek GOD for themself. You have nothing to lose but everything to gain. For the person who says that this is pushing "religion" on others you are incorrect. We are not pushing religion but encouraging Jesus , which is all together right. The person always has the Choice just like the person who does not believe in Hell to not accept Chirst and the things of him, GOD has given everyone that chance. In conclusion, in the end when everyone stands in judgement before GOD there will be no excuse your either going to Hell or Heaven whether you were a "true" Christian, backslider, atheist, whatever and also regardless of these titles every knee will bow and recognize that God is God alone.
